The Salem Wildcats soccer team improved to 16-2-and-1 with a dominant 10-1 short match win over Harrisburg on the road. The game ended early when sophomore Payton Gullion put a header in off a corner to make the deficit 9 goals ending the game.
Junior Eli Baker was dominant scoring 7 goals. He now has 62 on the season and is only 9 away from tying the all time record of 71 set in 1976. Salem has one regular season game tomorrow at home against Mattoon and then they open regionals Friday at home against Olney giving Baker a chance. He is currently 7th all time.
Austin Woolridge scored twice and Caleb Purintun added 5 assists.
