Boehne Into Record Books With Opening Round 68 For EIU

Eastern Illinois men’s golf opened the 2024 Arkansas State Bubba Barnett Invitational with a team score of 283, the 6^th best single round team total in school history.  EIU wrapped up the 54-hole event on Tuesday placing 14^th.  The event played at RidgePointe Country Club in Jonesboro, Arkansas was won by host Arkansas State.  Christ Our Rock grad Parker Boehne and teammate Cole Jaworski opened with rounds of 68, becoming the 16^th and 17^th players in school history to shoot 68.  Boehne finished tied for 40^th with a total of 219 shooting 75 and 76 his final two rounds.
