The Salem Wildcats won the 618 Rivalry Soccer Game over Centralia 7-2 avenging last year’s loss and improving the Cats best start ever to 7-1. Eli Baker added to his career record tally of goals as the junior scored 5 times giving him 16 over the past 3 games and 25 this season. He is chasing the single season record he broke as a freshman and again last year with 32 goals. He has already almost doubled the career scoring mark in his first 2+ years in the program with 84. Robbie Shober added another goal for the Cats. Dax Snow scored for the Orphans and they would add a late goal as well. Salem will head to Breese Central for conference play on Thursday before hosting Freeburg on Saturday.
