The Salem Wildcats boys cross country team were 5th at the Herrin Invitational on Tuesday. Hunter Malan led the way finishing 8th out of 75 athletes. Caiden Beer was 12th, Jacob Cape 49th and Kevan Moore 53rd. In the girl’s race, Maci Thorsen was 11th. Salem will run at Mount Vernon next Tuesday.
