The Christ Our Rock cross country team competed at the Marissa Invitational and the boys finished 5th overall. They were just 10 points behind 3rd place O’Fallon First Baptist Academy and 7 points behind 4th place Okawville. Sohomore Carson Pigg led the way once again placing 5th. Zerek Koch cracked the top 20 and medaled in 17th place. Wyatt Gregory was 22nd, Cameron Jones was 35th and Liagel Lyons was 45th.
On the girls side, Senior Rylee Brammeier out kicked a Pinckneyville runner at the end to finish 9th out of 62 runners.
Christ Our Rock will run at West Frankfort on Thursday.
