Marion High School has been blessed with some great coaches, and that was never more evident then after the announcement of the Southern Illinois Coaches Association Coach of the Year awards. Marion had 4 coaches receive honors. Joy Neal in 3a softball, Kyle Geiger in 3a baseball, Scott Gill in 2a boys cross country and Mike Kraus in 2a girls golf.
