Christ Our Rock got a great pitching performance from Jayden Bazile who worked all 8 innings as they pulled out a 2-1 road win over South Central.
Christian Nollman hit a sacrifice fly to center field in the top of the 8th that scored Brayden Albert with the eventual winning run.
Bazile threw 114 pitches with 5 hits allowed and struck out 7. Brayden Albert added 2 hits and 2 runs with Nollman finishing with 2 RBI.
SC’s run came from Garret Shumate who scored on a squeeze bunt to tie the game at 1-1. Colton Smith, Maddux Robb, Colby Bursott, Hudson Moore and Evan Hoover singled for the Cougars.
Callaway Smith went 7.2 allowing 2 earned runs and struck out 9.
