South Central is back in action today at home against Windsor/Stew-Stras.
The Lady Falcons had a great weekend winning the Casey Invitational for the first time in several years.
SC opened with an 11-1, five-inning win over Edison. Annie Ruholl, Ophie Lowry and Emmie Ruholl drove in 2 runs each with RBI also from Skylare Webster, Kylen Bolen and Alexa Gile. Annie Ruholl was the complete game winner. She allowed 3 hits and struck out 4.
SC then routed Casey 10-1 scoring 6 times in the 2nd inning to pull away. Bella McDowell drove in 3 runs going 3-3 with a double and triple. Williams and Gile drove in 2 runs with RBI also from Bolen and Annie Ruholl. Williams was the winner going all 4 innings with 9 strikeouts and just 4 hits allowed.
