In the City of Salem Recreation/YMCA Men’s Softball, the tournament opened up. Eliminators opened with a 17-2 win over El Rancherito. ABC Pub beat 51/50 Misfits 13-1. Iuka State Bank were winners over the Knights 21-11.
In Coed Sand Volleyball, One Fine Piece of Ace in straight sets beat Regulators (21-13, 21-12). Zen Nails needed 3 sets to beat Tomahawks (21-13, 14-21, 15-13). Walmart Inc. in straight sets beat Toss & Wash (21-15, 21-19).
