For Salem, 2 of their 4 bowlers who competed at Jr Gold in the Detroit area advanced through the brutal qualification rounds to finish top 104 out of 1331 bowlers from across the country.
Keaton Gullion and Silas Moats both advanced through to the final 191 Advancers Round with solid qualification rounds.
Gullion was in 16th place after 3 rounds, but struggled in his final block that saw him drop to 93rd but averaged 200 for qualification (+10) and easily was ahead of the cut line of 191.
Moats averaged 197 for the 4 rounds (-48) and finished 133rd and also made the cut into the Advancers Round.
Their runs came to an end with Moats shooting a 5-game block of 1099 for a 202 average for the tournament and finished +51 and in 84th place.
Gullion shot (1000) on the block and also averaged 209 as he finished the entire week at +10 and was 104th.
Also for the Wildcats, Ryan Detering just missed out on the cut in the hunt until the final round as he finished with an 188 average and 301st with his -189.
Rhett Detering shot -495 to finish 844.
Also Rhett Runge of Odin finished 796th with his -476.
