Fuzion’s Run At Nationals Ends, But What A Ride

The Fuzion run at the Southeast National Softball Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee came to an end after a great run that saw them get to the final 16 of a 54 team elimination bracket.

After going 2-1 in Pool Play, the Fuzion opened bracket play with a win over the Oklahoma Impact 6-2. Salem’s Marah Johnson hit a clutch home run to help the Fuzion to the win.

After a 6-0 loss to the St Louis Pirates, the elimination bracket began.

The Fuzion got 2 home runs from Johnson in their 12-0 win over the Illinois Lightning, then a 6-2 win over Morrison Fury and 8-0 win over the Delaware Magic, the Fuzion were into the final 16.

They ultimately would fall to the Lemont Lightning 6-3. Arwyn Wilkey homered in the loss.

The Fuzion finish the season at 50-26-1.
