Salem Township Road Commissioner Joe Telford says all roads crossing Crooked Creek, which includes, Robin, South College, South Hotze, South Hoots Chapel and West Line Road remain flooded Wednesday morning.   He notes West Line Road is the designated detour for the Odin Road Bridge construction but cannot be used for that purpose until further notice.

Green Street Road reopened early Wednesday morning as water levels dropped in Raccoon Creek below the Raccoon Lake Dam.  The Centralia Water Plant reports all gates of the lake have now been closed to help get rid of the flood waters downstream.   The lake is still almost totally full.

Brick Hill Road in the Raccoon Creek bottoms remains flooded.  Police say they are aware of the vehicle stuck in the middle of the flood waters.  There is no one in the vehicle.

The Illinois Department of Transportation reports Illinois Route 127 into Nashville from I-64 remains flooded.  I-64 has reopened through Washington County after being closed for much of the day Tuesday due to flood waters.

Other rural roads remain flooded as well.  Always remember turn around, don’t drown if you encounter water across a roadway.
