Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 60-year-old Mark Widinger of Church Road in Salem on Sunday for alleged aggravated domestic battery with strangulation.  Widinger was taken to the Marion County Jail pending a final decision on formal charges.

29-year-old Alexis Jarnagin of McKee Street in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police on a Marion County no bond felony warrant for possession of a weapon by a felon.

22-year-old Kaleb Johnston of West Kerr in Centralia turned himself in on a Marion County no-bond felony failure to appear warrant.

46-year-old Steven Watson of Monroe Street in Louisville was arrested in Clay County on an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor warrant for criminal damage to property.  He was later transported to the Marion County Jail.

The Salem Fire Protection District was called to the Hudspeth Law Office at 222 West Main late Sunday morning when a fire alarm sounded.  The problem turned out to be plastic getting too hot in a microwave causing smoke to fill part of the building.   Firemen helped ventilate the smoke.   The fire call came in at 11:45 Sunday morning with firemen on the scene for about a half hour.
