Marion County Highway Engineer Mike McCormick says starting Monday the Odin Road will be closed to through traffic from Community Beach Road to the Green Street Road.
The closure is to allow a bridge and the bridge approaches on the Odin Road to be widened as part of a safety project underway on both the Odin and Green Street Roads.
McCormick expects the Odin Road to be closed six to eight weeks. The complete project is not expected to be completed until late this year.
