The Salem 10 District All Stars won the opening game of their District Tournament at Mt Carmel. Salem beat the hosts 14-10 overcoming an early 4-0 deficit scoring 11 runs over the fourth and fifth innings to get the win. Salem out-hit Mt Carmel 17-7. Bo Martinez went 4-4 with 3 RBI, Nash Mulvaney had 2 hits including a triple and had 2 RBI along with Jasen Lindsey, Easton Keller and Koleson Green. Lewis Eddie had 2 hits and also drove in a run. Salem used 5 pitchers in the win, Eddy earned the victory with Easton Henson, Keller, Liam Ryan and Martinez all working on the mound. Salem advances to tonight’s semifinal against either Olney or Lawrenceville at 6pm with the winner advancing to the championship set to begin on Saturday.
