A female employee of Momma Antonio’s on West Main Street in Salem was injured when her hand became stuck in a dough roller at the restaurant late Friday afternoon.

Salem Fire Protection District officials were called to help free the employee’s hand.  The machine had already been turned off.  After unplugging it, firemen removed the guard on the machine and loosened the tension roller.  That allowed for her hand to be released.

Fire officials say the employee had pinched fingers, but no apparent serious injuries.  She was taken by United Medical Response to the Salem Township Hospital Emergency Room to be checked.

The call came in at 4:05 Friday afternoon.
