The Keep Salem Beautiful Citywide Cleanup is Saturday morning.
KSB Coordinator Kelli Predium is encouraging everyone to come out.
“We are going to meet at Shelter #2 by the stage. Start registering at 8:30, give them all the supplies to go out to the sites. We are going to clean up starting a little after 9 we will do a speaking part, then go clean then come back convene for a light lunch at the shelter we are thinking a little after 11:00.”
Predium says the group with the biggest number of people cleaning up will receive the traveling trophy for the competition.
Bryan Memorial Park, the Salem Reservoir area, behind Walmart and along Beer Can Alley on North Alley Street are areas slated to be cleaned Saturday morning.
