Three persons made first appearances in Marion County Court Friday on new felony charges.
31-year-old Zachary Zeller of South Locust in Centralia has been charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and ammunition by a felon. He’s accused of possessing a .22 caliber handgun and .22 caliber bullets in his home. If convicted, Zeller faces a prison term of no less than two years and no more than 10 years. The incidents allegedly occurred on March 27th. Zeller was ordered to be back in court on May 29th for a preliminary hearing.
32-year-old Donna Crabtree of East Third in Centralia has been charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance containing fentanyl. She had the public defender appointed to represent her and had a first appearance in court with attorney scheduled for April 30th.
39-year-old William Combs of South Franklin in Salem was charged with possession of under five grams of methamphetamine. A public defender was appointed to represent him and he is due back in court on May 21st. If convicted, Combs faces an extended-term sentence due to a prior Clay County felony conviction.
