Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested 44-year-old Ryan Richardson of Colestock Lane in Centralia for possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He is accused of taking a side-by-side from a home on Route 37 near England Road south of Salem earlier this week. Richardson was reportedly bringing the side-by-side back to the residence when he was arrested.
27-year-old Perry Metts of North Cross Lane in Ina was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Jefferson County DUI warrant.
Salem Fire Protection District was called out early Wednesday night to a grass and tree branch fire in the backyard of the Charles Easley residence on William Street. It had spread from a fire at a neighbor’s home. The fire was stopped before it caused any damage to a nearby fence.
