A 29-year-old Kell man was injured in a single pickup truck crash just west of Kell early Saturday morning.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department reports Nicholas Harmon of Third Street swerved off the 4900 block of Kell Road when trying to avoid a deer standing in the middle of the road. His truck came to a stop in the northbound ditch.
Harmon was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The crash occurred at 1:16 on Saturday morning.
