Police Beat for Monday, February 26th, 2024

Centralia Police arrested 29-year-old Madeline Stevens of Marion for alleged domestic battery, unlawful use of a weapon, and possession of a controlled substance.   She was taken to the Marion County Jail pending a decision on formal charges.

Centralia Police arrested 28-year-old Issac Beasley of Woodland Lane in Mt. Vernon for aggravated domestic battery.   He was also taken to the Marion County Jail.

A 26-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police on a no-bond felony warrant.  Zechariah Pigg of County Highway 18 was also taken to the Marion County Jail.

Sandoval Police arrested 63-year-old Dennis Pannell of South Mulberry in Sandoval on a no-bond warrant.  Pannell is wanted on an outstanding major traffic case.

Salem Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in the 200 block of Woodland Drive.  A 2017 Chrysler 300 parked on the street was struck on the driver’s side by a vehicle that left the scene.  Police say at this point they have little information about the hit-and-run vehicle.
