The Centralia City Council Monday night will be asked to approve the restoration of the 300,000-gallon elevated water storage reservoir near Kaskaskia College on College Road. Neumann Company Contractors, Inc. was the lowest of the four bidders to complete the exterior protective coating for $171,300.
The council will also consider a $60,000 bid from General Contractors for asphalt materials that will be used for public works maintenance.
The council will recognize the retirement of firefighter Captain Chad Gormann with a service award.
The meeting begins at six on Monday night at Centralia City Hall.
