Salem Mayor Nic Farley has unveiled a website designed as a one-stop website for everything about the April 8th total eclipse.
The mayor used his IT and website-building skills to create SalemEclipse.com
“We’ve got some maps from NASA, some FAQ, locations and events around Salem of businesses and places that will be great to view the event, and other businesses are doing extra business around the eclipse and we wanted to make sure we were promoting those.”
Farley is inviting those in the community planning special events to interact with the website.
“There’s a form you can fill out online, attach a flyer to it and we will get it uploaded to our list of events on that page.”
Farley says the page will also include a complete list of restaurants that are available to eat while visiting Salem.
Meanwhile, the Salem Police, Emergency Services, and city officials continue to plan for what they anticipate will be a big influx of people into the community for the total eclipse.
