The Salem Girls Bowling Team took tenth place in State on Saturday in Rockford.
The Salem girls totaled 11,164 points in the state championship series, 1,059 behind state champion Jolliet West. Salem’s top individual finisher was Senior Jaeda Rollinson who was 21st in state as an individual with 2,423 points. Sophomore Ava Birch was second for the Lady Cats. Her 2,181 points was 67th in state. Salem’s other top four finishers were senior Olivia Paulson with 2,135 points and sophomore Willow Amburgey with 2,129 points.
Three Metro-East teams also finished in the top 12 at state. Collinsville was 4th, Mascoutah 6th, and O’Fallon 11th.
