So how much snow will there be? When will it end?

The National Weather Service has extended the Winter Weather Advisory until six Friday night.

South Central Illinois is expected to receive one to three inches of snow by late afternoon when it should end but temperatures plummet to 17 degrees with northwest wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

It will be sunny on Saturday, but temperatures are not expected to rise above freezing.    Northwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.    The temperature will drop to 22 on Saturday night before warming to 47 on Sunday which should get rid of any remaining snow.
