Central City beat New Horizon in the championship of the North Wamac 7th Grade Tournament. Drew Jack had 10, Kolton Cook 9 and Bo Goewey added 8 in the win. Gage Donoho had 10 and Beckham Bass 7 for the Crusaders. Goewey was named tournament MVP.
Raccoon won the 3rd place game over Irvington/North Wamac 46-21. John Organ had 16in the win, Jack Schafer added 10. Dawson Deering led the Indian Eagles with 18.
Trinity St Mary’s beat Odin in the consolation game 49-22. Tucker Aydt had 16 for the Defenders, Eli Southerland led Odin with 9.
In the 7th place game, Ashley beat Willow Grove 48-4. Wyatt McConnel had 15 in the win.
Joining Goewey on the All Tournament Team was teammate Kolton Cook, New Horizon’s Eli Marcum, John Organ of Raccoon, Dawson Deering of North Wamac and TSM’s Parker Ronnelman.
