The Salem Freshmen saw their double digit lead evaporate and trailed by 2 in the final 20 seconds of their season finale at B.E. Gum against Effingham. Salem’s Payton Gullion would hit a big three pointer to give Salem the lead with 10 seconds left, but with a foul to give, Salem gave up a last second shot on the baseline at the buzzer and lost 57-56. Payton Gullion led the freshmen with 13, Avery Gullion added 11 and Landen Maxey added 7.
