25th ranked Olney Central College stayed a half game ahead of Vincennes in the region standings by turning back Kaskaskia College 86-77 behind JT Thomas who scored a season best 31. Caleb Jenkins led KC with 21 with Will Vasser adding 18. KC falls to 15-7 overall while OCC improves to 18-4.
5th ranked Vincennes avoided an upset at home, coming from 11 points down early in the 2nd half to beat Shawnee 67-62. The 21-2 Trailblazers were led by Lebron Thomas with 20. The Saints fall to 12-9 and were paced by Ladricus Pittman with 14.
SWIC punished Lincoln Trail 92-62 in Belleville. 5 Blue Storm players were in double figures led by Nzube Mekkams 17. Ollie Alford led LTC with 13 points off the bench.
Lake Land got 22 from Sean De Kovachich and beat Rend Lake 80-74. Justin King had 28 and Dre Scott 20 for the Warriors.
Wabash Valley broke away from a tie game at the half to beat visiting John A Logan 73-63. The Warriors are 12-6 while the Volunteers fall to 11-12.
