The Salem Wildcat wrestlers had a great day at the Carlyle Regionals. Salem was 4th as a team but qualified 5 wrestlers to Saturdays Vandalia Sectionals. Advancing were Keyton King and Carter Moore who each won their divisions. Aden Doolen, Cooper Lobeck and Carson Osbourne also advanced by finishing 3rd.
Also notable performances came from Kevan Moore and Chance Sill who both were 4th and Killian Merrill, Preston Camp and Adam Auvil who each won a match via pin.

The Vandalia Vandals had a streak of 28 straight regional team titles snapped last year at the hands of Auburn, the Vandals reclaimed their regional supremacy on Saturday winning at Auburn. 6 individual champions and 12 of the 14 Vandals advance to this weekend’s stacked south sectional held at Vandalia.
