The Marion County State’s Attorney’s office has filed five new felony drug charges against those earlier given notices to appear in court by area police departments.
37-year-old Stephanie Laughhunn of West Main in Richview was charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance for alleged possession of fentanyl. If found guilty, Laughhunn faces an extended term sentence.
62-year-old Kenneth Powell of North Beech in Centralia was charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine and felony driving on a revoked license with three or more prior convictions. Powell faces an extended term if found guilty of the drug charge and a minimum 180 day jail term on the driving revoked charge.
54-year-old Bruce Nauer of Baseline Road in Walnut Hill, 34-year-old Travis Cooksey of Greve Drive in Centralia and 39-year-old Casey Gizzard of South Brookside in Centralia have all been charged with possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine. Cooksey and Gizzard face extended term sentences if found guilty due to past convictions.
