The latest Nesto Hoops rankings are out for prep boys basketball.
The Breese Central Cougars are once again the #1 ranked team in 2a entering this week at 23-2. They are followed in the top three by Peoria Manual and Byron. Benton is 6, Pinckneyville 11, TTown and Wesclin 14 and 15 respectively, Columbia 18 and Lawrenceville 21st.
In 3a, the Centralia Orphans are 10th in the latest polls as they are 23-2 on the season. Harvey Thornton, Metamora and DePaul Prep are the top 3 teams. Mt Zion is 5th with East St Louis 7th, Mount Vernon 17th and Olney 22nd.
The St Anthony Bulldogs are 22-4 and once again the #1 ranked team in 1a followed by West Central and Hope Academy. Altamont is 17, Dieterich 18, Waltonville 20 and Bluford 21st.
In 4a, Homewood Flossmoor is the top team followed by Curie and Waubonsie Valley. 23-3 Collinsville sits at #13.
