A 31-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Wamac Police on a felony failure to appear warrant in an aggravated DUI case. Artemio Carmona-Belesco of Wabash Avenue was taken to the Marion County Jail on a bond warrant.
24-year-old Michael Foutch of North Walnut in Centralia was transferred to the Fayette County Jail at Vandalia after being arrested by Centralia Police on a Fayette County felony failure to appear warrant on a possession of controlled substance case.
Crews worked for around six hours late Saturday night and early Sunday morning to reopen the entrance ramp to northbound I-57 from I-64 after a semi-truck flipped over on its side. Jefferson Fire reports the driver escaped injury and no hazardous materials were involved. The incident was reported around eight Saturday night.
