Salem Bowlers 3rd Heading To Final Day Of State Tournament

The Salem Wildcat Bowlers are in position to make a move today heading into the final round of the IHSA State Bowling Tournament.  Salem sits 3^rd overall and 166 pins behind the leader Harrisburg.  Glenbrook North is 2^nd with Salem just 15 pins back of them.

Dominick Winkler led Salem on the day finishing 23^rd averaging over 212 for the day.  Keaton Gullion shot a career best 280 in the 4^th game and sits 26^th just 2 pins shy of Winkler.  Silas Moats is 32^nd, Ryan Detering 25^th and Rhett Detering 49^th.

Individually, Mount Vernon’s Travin Elliott advanced as an individual.  The action begins this morning at 9am at St Clair Bowl in Fairview Heights.
