The Woodlawn 6th and 8th grade tournaments finished up on Friday. Central City knocked off Woodlawn 61-33 to win the tournament. Bartelso finished things off with a win over Ewing 53-39. On the 1st Team All Tournament was Kruz Jackson and Archie Goewey of Central City, Ian Bennett and Tucker Downes of Woodlawn and Max Nowak of Rome. On the 2nd team was Holden Skibo and Drake Spetter of Ewing, Reece Harre and Carson Weber of Bartelso and Laken Kirkpatrick of Woodlawn.
Bartelso beat Ewing for the 6th grade title 35-33. Central City nipped Woodlawn 40-39. The 6th grade 1st Team All Tournament went to Kolton Cook of Central City, Logan Carlton and Jake Webb of Ewing along with Bartelso’s Fin Winkeler and Trent Loepker. On the 2nd team was Jackson Becker of Bartelso, Kolten Jones of Ewing, Lane Isaac of Rome, Bo Goewey of Central City and Liam Pierce of Woodlawn.
They also named a varsity Cheerleading All Tournament Team. That went to Gwen Jack and Audrey Smith of Central City, Maya Poole, Shiloh Meadows and Lily Chesnick of Woodlawn along with Amira Sims of Rome.

The Centralia Tigers won a pair of middle school boys basketball games over the weekend. They beat Wolf Branch 60-10 and O’Fallon 57-25.
