A 26-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court to aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer.

Coleman Ross of Frazier Street allegedly fled from a Centralia Police officer at speeds of more than 21 miles per hour over the speed limit last January. He also received a three year concurrent prison term after his probation was revoked for a second time for possession of under five grams of methamphetamine. The revocation was based on not completing a drug and alcohol evaluation and treatment.

In addition to the three year prison term, Ross was ordered to complete six months mandatory supervised release when getting out of prison. He was given credit for 14 days already served in the Marion County Jail. Coleman will also have to pay a $200 public defender fee.
