The Salem boys and girls both won the Cahokia Bowling Championships held at Bel-Air Bowl hosted by Columbia.
The boys were led by Silas Moats, the junior was the individual conference champion shooting a 970 over four games, including a perfect 300 in the opener. That was his 3rd of the season and ties the IHSA career mark set by 2 other bowlers. Moats still has another year to go. Dom Winkler finished 3rd right ahead of Rhett Detering 4th and Ryan Detering 8th. Keaton Gullion threw 2 games and finished at +95. Breese Central was 2nd and Columbia 3rd.
The girls were first with Freeburg 2nd and Columbia 3rd. Elena Vanhoutin and Jaeda Rollinson went 1-2 individually with Ava Birch 15th.
