A 28-year-old Centralia man who formerly worked at One Hope United has been sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court to two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

Trevor Gyorkos of Bell Aire Drive admitted to committing sexual acts with a 16-year-old female resident of facility between May and July of last year. Centralia Police say Gyorkos left One Hope United in August.

As part of the plea, two counts of criminal sexual assault were dropped.

In addition to the seven year prison term, Gyorkos was ordered to complete one year of court supervision and pay a $200 public defender fee.
