Illinois State Police reports Interstate 57 has reopened going both directions at the Ina exit.
The Interstate was shut down in both directions after two passenger cars and a tractor-trailer truck collided in the southbound lanes around 11:35 Friday morning. The truck caught fire following the crash. Injuries were reported, but no specifics have yet been released by State Police.
The northbound lanes reopened at 1:38 Friday afternoon, while at last word one of the two southbound lanes is still closed.
State Police say they will release more information when it is available.
