Last night in Class S Regional openers, Iuka won their Allendale opener over Jasper 50-24. Katee Sellers had 26 and Kinley Eagan 20 in the win. Iuka will take on New Hope tonight at 7:15. In the other side of the bracket, Field will take on St Joe Olney at 6pm.
At Bartelso, Selmaville won their opener beating Central City 25-18. Shelby Johnson and Alana Finney led the Lady Rockets with 6 points each. They will take on top seed Bartelso tonight at 6pm followed by the 2nd semifinal with New Horizon and Trinity St Mary. The Lady Crusaders advanced with a 52-4 win over Sandoval and the Defenders beat Germantown 44-35.
Also in Class S at Summersville, Bethel beat Spring Garden 33-27 and will play the hosts tomorrow. Opdyke-Belle River knocked of Raccoon 54-21 and will play Mount Vernon St Mary’s in the other semi.
The Class M Steeleville girl’s regional opens tonight. Nashville will take on Sesser Valier followed by Pinckneyville and Steeleville St Mark’s. the championship is Saturday morning.
The Woodlawn Regional in Class M is also tonight with Breese taking on Odin/Patoka at 6 followed by Woodlawn and Rome. Their championship will be Friday night.
