Bobcats Knock Off All Saints…SC Wins On 8th Grade Night…Selmaville & Central City Get W’s, CJHS Falls To O’Fallon Arthur Joseph

The Salem Bobcats won their road game at Breese All Saints 59-50 in spite of only shooting 7-of-24 from the foul line.  Troy Keele had 22 to lead Salem with Silas Lux adding 15.  The JV fell 41-31.  Bentley Bryan had 9 to lead Salem.  The JV Bobcats were only 5-of-25 from the free throw line.  Combined the JV and Varsity teams went 12-of-47 from the charity stripe on the night.

South Central beat Iuka on 8th grade night in Kinmundy 45-21 to improve to 12-6 on the season.  Gillespie led SC with 10, Hoover added 9 in the balanced attack that saw 9 Falcons score.  Damon Jennings and Caeden Cripps had 7 each for the Pirates.  SC won the JV game 46-8 to improve to 16-7.  Hoover had 13 to lead the JV

The Selmaville Rockets beat St Mary’s 57-26.  Logan Butts had 18 to lead Selmaville and Walker Crank added 11.  The Rockets JV won 35-15 behind 16 from Rafe James.

Central City improved to 21-1 on the season with a 53-20 win over Aviston.

The Centralia Tigers fell to O’Fallon Joseph Arthur 56-50.  In the loss Kenny Bratton had 18, Treyten Branch 12 and Bradey Diehl 10.  The 7th Grade JV lost 45-38.  Jemir Shered had 19 in the loss.

Tonight, the Odin/Patoka junior high boys will travel to Altamont Lutheran.
