The Salem Wildcats are back in Cahokia action tonight when they travel to Roxana to take on the Shells. Salem lost to Roxana in the consolation semifinal in overtime at the Duster Thomas. Game time at 7:30 with the Gruesome Twosome on WJBD and streaming at WJBDradio.com. Salem enters at 5-12 on the year, but is coming off a great effort in a 6-point loss at Mount Vernon on Tuesday night.
After tonight, Salem returns to action tomorrow when they host a Mega Day with the Lady Wildcats. The day begins at noon with the Salem JV girls taking on Olney followed by the varsity contest. Then the JV boys host Vandalia and that will be followed by the varsity game. Both the boys and girls varsity games will be broadcast on WJBD and streaming at WJBDradio.com.
The SC Cougars return to action tonight as they host Cisne. The Mount Vernon Rams welcome Carbondale in South 7 play before heading to Evansville Memorial tomorrow.
The undefeated Centralia Orphans are off tonight, but will travel to a tough Mascoutah squad tomorrow evening. The Orphans freshmen are in action Saturday at the O’Fallon Tournament.
Last night, Christ Our Rock beat Metro East Lutheran 65-46. Parker Boehne led the Stallions with 18, Jayden Bazile finished with 17 and Damari Dabney added 10.
