Wednesday was the opening day of the Woodlawn Lady Warriors Ice Breaker Tournament. 3rd seed New Horizon opened with a 44-18 win over Rome. Annalyn Bass led all scorers with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Liv Torrence added 12.
Also, top seed Woodlawn beat Bethel 59-14, Bluford upset New Hope in overtime 45-44, 2nd seed Fairfield beat Waltonville 62-15.
The Tournament continues tonight with the consolation semifinals in the Old Gym starting with Bethel and New Hope at 6 and then Waltonville and Rome at 7:15. The championship semis will be at the same times in the New Gym with Woodlawn and Bluford followed by New Horizon and Fairfield.
