T. Annette Alvis, 76, of Walnut Hill, Illinois, passed away at 4:52 pm on December 25, 2024, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
She was born September 6, 1948, in Centralia, Illinois to the late Delbert and Norma (Orrill) Prosise. Annette married Terry Alvis on April 20, 1968. They were blessed with 56 years of marriage.
In addition to her beloved husband, Annette is survived by her children, Terry W. Alvis and wife, Jamie, Timothy S. Alvis and wife, Belinda, and Thomas R. Alvis and wife, Jamie; grandchildren, Dustin Alvis and wife, Bethany, Cody Alvis and special friend, Kelly Kalkbrenner, Trisha Green and husband, Grant, Ashley Knight and husband, Kelton, Tristin Alvis, and Bryson Alvis; step-granddaughter, Mackenzie Boatwright and husband, Brandon; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, James and Janette Alvis.
Annette worked for Addus Healthcare as a caregiver for many years. She loved babysitting her grandchildren. Annette was a loving mother, grandmother, and faithful wife. She will be deeply missed.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:00 am at Little Grove Cemetery in Little Grove Cemetery in Dix, Illinois with Mr. Marty Mills officiating. Inurnment will follow.
