Lady Cats Open Benton Tournament Today On WJBD
The Salem Lady Wildcats open up play at the Benton Tournament this afternoon at 4:30 against 12-3 Harrisburg. You can listen to the game on 100.1 FM and streaming at WJBDradio.com. Win or lose, the Lady Cats will play at 6pm tomorrow night against either Mt Zion or Carbondale. The day begins at 9am with Civic Memorial and West Frankfort followed by Vinna and Herrin, then Goreville and Olney, Carterville and Benton. After the Salem game, Mount Vernon takes on DuQuoin and Triad will open with Christopher.
Annies Open Up First Year At Peoria Manual Tournament
The Centralia Annies are no longer at the Mattoon Holiday Tournament. They are now participating in the Peoria Manual Tournament that begins today. The Annies will open at 3pm against the hosts and then at 6:30 tonight against Chatham Glenwood. The tournament runs through Friday.
Lady Cougars Split Opening Games At Dieterich Holiday Tournament
The SC Lady Cougars went 1-1 on the opening day of the Dieterich Girls Tournament. They opened with a win over Dieterich 52-44 before losing to Cumberland 62-51. They will finish pool play today at 11:30 against Marshall.
