Centralia Police have released details on an early Friday night crash where two young children were taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries.
Reports indicate that 30-year-old Miranda Adams of North College in Salem made a left-hand turn into oncoming traffic in the 1600 block of East McCord and collided with a pickup driven by 19-year-old Brock Milburn of Racetrack Road in Centralia.
Both drivers escaped injury, but while waiting for reports to be completed Adams walked to St. Mary’s Hospital to have a four-year-old girl and five-year-old boy checked out in the emergency room due to the impact of an airbag deployment.
Adams was ticketed for failure to yield when turning left.
The crash was reported at 6:30 Friday night.
