A 27-year-old Salem woman received apparent minor injuries when her car hit standing water on I-57 southbound at mile marker 114 on Christmas morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies say Kyeshia Bierman of Red Stripe Road struck a tree after leaving the interstate. She was out of the vehicle on her own.
United Medical Response responded to provide emergency medical services.
