Four people were taken to the Marion County Jail on Christmas Day.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 54-year-old Vicki McMullin of Tonti Road in Salem for alleged domestic battery following an incident at her home on Christmas morning.
Centralia Police arrested 48-year-old Rebecca Osborne of South Elm in Centralia on an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant.
24-year-old Elexis Gibson of North Hickory in Centralia was arrested on an outstanding Clinton County failure to appear warrant. Centralia Police initially brought her to the Marion County Jail, but she was later transferred to Clinton County.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 37-year-old Steven West of South Rotan in Salem for driving on a suspended license. He was later released on a notice to appear in court.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department and Kinmundy Police are investigating criminal damage to the Kinmundy IGA store. A person checking to see if the store was open on Christmas Day found the front doors had been smashed in.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a two-ton boom truck stolen from a shed owned by the Citation Oil Company in the 2800 block of Selmaville Road in rural Salem. The theft was reported at 8:20 Christmas morning and was still reported missing on Tuesday.
