The Salem Lions Club has announced the winners of the annual Christmas lighting contest.
Nathan Lutz of the 2500 block of Red Stripe Road in rural Odin won the Facebook Favorite with an elaborate display featuring lights and a variety of blow-up characters.
The Little Elves award went to Tim and Trisha Welch in the 200 block of Country Club Drive with another elaborate display of lights and Christmas characters.
Mayor Nick Farley selected the large display at the Lisa Sloat home in the 200 block of North College as his top choice.
The Lion’s Choice award went to the large display at the home of Mary Rubio in the 100 block of Woodland Drive.
Each of the award winners will receive $50 from the Lion’s Club.
