With the Bell Ringing campaign over, the Salem Ministerial Alliance is at $17,584.36 towards its $25,000 Community Fund Goal.
The Bell Ringing campaign that ended last weekend raised about $13,000 with the remainder of the money so far coming from mail-in donations.
The drive isn’t over yet. The alliance is hopeful for end-of-year donations from several businesses to help put them closer to the goal, but they add contributions can be made all year. Donations may be mailed to the Ministerial Alliance at Post Office Box 1312 in Salem.
The Community Fund is used to help residents with one-time emergency needs.
