A 47-year-old Centralia man has been charged in Marion County Court with two counts of aggravated battery in a public place after allegedly striking two people inside the Dollar General Store on East Nolman in Centralia.
Kevin Birdo of East 4th was ordered detained without bond on a motion filed by the State’s Attorney’s office. He will make his first appearance in court on December 26th following the holidays.
Birdo is accused of striking both of the victims in the head with his hand inside the store on December 19th. The two alleged victims reportedly knew Birdo.
